I'd like to know which ads generate which. When I use the preview tool to look at the ads, I see some that are selling software that costs >$1000. So its easy for me to conclude that if their product is expensive, that they must be a high paying click. But somehow I doubt my logic.
Then, sometimes I see two similar ads appear a few days apart. Usually, competitors of each other. Might this be a clue that its a high paying click, since two or more companies are competing for keywords? What if they sell a cheap product that to my best guess makes a lot of sales? What might this tell me? What if they sell an expensive product that generates few sales? What might this tell me?
Any other suggestions to get a rough estimate of which ads have the higher pay per click?
I see ads from three overlapping subject areas on my site, and I suspect that the highest-value clicks I get are from one of those subject areas.
Can you create channels that will group pages roughly by keyword or subject area? If so, you might learn something. You may never know what ad is the most valuable, but you might learn what subject area is the most valuable to you. Then you can make adding content in that area be your priority.

With 190 channels, it's in the first hours of a day easy to spot a high value click.
Sometimes, I find it logical, that a high paying click occurs in a certain channel.
But sometimes, I am complete surprised, because a high paying click occurs in a channel where I would have never expected one.
So I came to the conclusion, it's not worth to bother over high paying clicks. They just happen in a complete unpredictable manner.
