Problem with adding more than one ad box to page

I'm having problems adding more than one ad box to a page.

I'm using Word to construct the page and Notepad to add the Google code. I have a link box and one ad box in fine but when I add the second two ad boxes they do not show up when I view the page in IE although the link and 1st ad box do.

When I use the show/hide button in Word I can see the icon for the code in the place I would expect it but nothing shows in IE.

I've tried doing this on a blank page with nothing but the ad boxes but it still doesn't work.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance to anyone who does.

I just added a second ad on several pages with no problem so I don't think it's something that AdSense is doing. I use HTML notepad.

Try a short page done all with notepad. I can't see why it would make a difference but it's worth a try.

Also really look the code over. Are you sure you got all the code copied for the additional ads. I've been sloppy and not got all the code then wondered why the ad doesn't show.

Have you tried uploading to your site and checking? I only see one ad offline but once the pages are uploaded then all ads show up.

I have found that you will usually only see the default nonprofit ad in the first box when you preview your site offline. If it still happens online, it may be that there are only a few ads available for that keyword and not enough to fill multiple boxes. If that is the case, each subsequent adbox will be blank.

It didn't occur to me she might not have checked it online. I don't see extra ads when I view offline either. I should have thought of that.
