Whether it was clickdump or what - I dont know but today is the first time i've reached 3 figures per day on AS.....I'm sooooooooo excited.....wuuuuuuuuhuuuuuuuuuuuu :)
That was my initial goal. Dont know if its gonna continue this way tomorrow or will it go down to the regular - but atleast i've touched the milestone :) - hopefully the income will head in the upward direction from now on hehe
But I must thank all of you - u people offer great advices. I've learnt so much in this forums from past couple of months - its crazy.
Anyways lets see what tomorrow holds for me

my site is new, so i didnt expect anything for 6 months or a year .. i've been averaging $2/day so i'm more than happy with that
a few weeks ago i had my site talked about by a radio host and I made $50 over next 3 days.. of course then it dropped back down to $1-$6 days.. at least i know how it feels!

Like i said - i think i might have just had a lucky day....if the same trend continues from here on - then I would be in a position to give you some advice :)
And about the advices I got from ppl here - there are no hard rules - its like you take different advices from ppl and keep trying different things and see what works for you....simple things like the placement of ads on ur site or whether or not u put a border around the ads could make a big difference....
Like for example - when i started out - I thought its better not to put any borders around the ads and try to mix the ads along with the content of your site - so by mistake users would click on the ad.....But in one of the forums - i read that its better if ur ads stand out-that way if the ads are relevant and if the user is interested - he would click on it......I tried that and it did make a lot of difference to me - I mean I got way lot more clicks than before....but again these are things that would work for some and not for others...
I wish I could point u to some forum topics that I read.....but honestly there is no one such thread....i just spent days browsing thru the different topics and seeing what worked for ppl and what did'nt. I still continue to do that :)
ppl here have so much experience and its really good that so many of them are willing to share it. I'm just a new comer who happened to have one good day :)

That's okay, I really didn't think that there was any magic to what you did. But I couldn't help asking. It seems the 'magic' is taking the time to read through the threads and do some testing.
I'm happy when I reach 3 figures a month, lol. But I'm still learning, hopefully I will one day reach your heights.
I am starting up a few new sites and echo your views regarding WebmasterWorld forums, without the time that others put in here in answering questions and giving advice, then it would be a lot more daunting when starting out.

YEs thats true - if you can put time and read thru the forums - you can learn a lot.
if nothing else just by reading the success stories of other ppl - motivates me - its like if they can do it - then it can be done and even I can do it.
You know ppl say that the first million is the hardest to make. Similarly who knows - maybe the first $100/day is most difficult.
But again ppl also say - "becoming rich is easy - but staying rich requires effort" - so maintaining $100/day is going to be a challenge :)
