How does a site targetted ad look like?

I don't think site-targeted ads have any particular 'look'. They are the same ads that may appear as any Adsense ad.

Targeted ads are setup by Adwords advertisers where they basically direct their ads to show on specific sites, content networks, etc.

But the ads are the same.

Site-targeted text ads may take up an entire adblock, but I don't know how you tell those apart from expanded ads, which are not site-targeted.

1. Use lots of channels and note income on a channel withpout clicks
2. See what ad appears on that channel.

Works on relatively small sites with a bunch of channels tracking your performance, at least for me.
