To try, or not.

Should I try a block @ top of page? Or is this "wrong"?

Ok. I'm tempted to try putting a rectangle ad block at the top of my page above articles. Should I do this?
I don't want my site to look like a "made for adsense" site with blatant advertising all over. But, I'm pretty sure the CTR will be a lot higher if I place a block at the top of the page.

Should I do this? Will I be risking anything (making site look bad, make bad impression on visitors, etc.)?

I have seen a lot of content sites put a block of adsense before and after articles and they look fine. As long as the articles are indepth and the adsense blends in with the look of the page, I say go for it.

I blend the blocks into the top of the articles so that people looking for something else related but not read an article on a subject can find it. Usually second paragraph
