Can I invite people to Download Firefoxe toobar?

i have a forum . and i have did a firefox referal banner from google .
Can i invite people to download it and install it in ther PC (by doing a description about google toolbar and his advantages ) .?

this question was asked in the most recent adsense webinar. you're not allowed to explicitly draw attention to any advertisement, including the firefox referrals. however you are allowed to talk about how good firefox is, and place a firefox refferal button right next to it.

As always with AdSense, you may not directly incite users to click. However with referrals, since you have chosen to endorse a particular product, you are allowed to reasonably discuss it in your content and note that you can download or sign-up through the button.

ASA, does this apply to Google referral, can I build a page promoting it on a non webmastering related site?

.. should be an exception in the TOS and Google should allow us to qualify & convert people into signing up because we are not paid by clicks or impressions but by successful money earning signups

To clarify, you cannot use language like, "click here" or "click on this button to download Firefox", or display a giant arrow drawing undue attention to your referral button.

However, in the content of your site you could provide an endorsement for the product you are choosing to refer. For example, you might say, "I recommend the Firefox browser." or "If you have a site with lots of high quality text-based content, I recommend trying AdSense." ;)

thaks ASA, it would be nice of you if you add my above suggestion to the wish list, after all no one can click fraud Google AdSense referrals.
