Search box does not validate

The google search box does not validate as loose or transitional.

This may be hurting ranks in other SE's. What gives?

I really don't see how that post was unhelpful. Did you read it? If you're concerned about the google search box not being valid (that is what your post is about, is it not?), they gave us permission to make it valid. What type of response are you really looking for if that's not it?
