I just found out on my GA report that one channel status - clicks is higher than page impression. Is this normal or should I report it to google?

This depends on the impressions.

5 impressions, 10 clicks can be normal with AdLink units

500 impression, 1000 clicks are shure complete unnormal

So in the range of very few impressions, statistic is not significant.

I'm working on a new site that on average has about one visitor a day. There has been days when Google reported clicks, but have had no visitors.

Having more clicks than impression happens every now and then on my sites. I once had a 300% ctr in one channel. In the end the clicks got counted.

I've also had like 500% ctr for a moment, it's just that the clicks and impressions might not get updated at the same time.

it happens. per channel, maybe be 2 visits and 3 clicks. or more often 1 visit and 2 clicks. it's just the stats have not been updated - they always even out when the day is 'closed'.

thats bad anand, is your ads related to your site contents? I have almost the same impression as you but got quite 200clicks.

my site is related to MBA preparation, and my visitors are very much related. Also, one of the repeating ads were abt. Business school rankings, which myself felt very tempted to click. But I do not know what makes the clicking population less. But, I'm sure that the traffic is very much targeted because majority of the traffic is from another related site which is very popular on MBA circles.

btw, what is your site about Digic..I felt since mine is a forum site, people are more satisfied reading my contents and posting rather than looking on the ads.

low ctr maybe due to the content of the website itself. if site visitors are already satisfied with the content, as in my case(sob), they will most likely NOT click the ads. 900++ impressions only get me 20++ clicks as compared to digic's 200++ clicks. wow! i wish i have that CTR.

anand, im sorry I cannot give you my sites category. anyway, some threads in this forums shows that "Forum" is not really a good source for Adsense revenue. If there is ads on this forum, will you click it?

vbignacio, its not so hard to have that clicks as long as the ads are very much related to the contents, I just used the section targeting.

well digic, my ads are very much related to my content. i think my low ctr is because almost all my visitors are very much satisfied with my content which is very much comprehensive and 100% free. i know this because i can track their destination when they leave my site. almost all of them use their bookmarked pages or use the address bar instead of clicking on my ads. in other words, they are not searching for more information on the subject because my site had already given it to them in full. my solution is just to increase my traffic which is what i am concentrating right now and the coming year.
