Where are your cheques posted from?

I noticed in an mealier discussion someone from the UK said they had a cheque posted from another European country.

If the posting is doe regionally, then presumably I will get my cheque a few days after you in India (I am in Sri Lanka)

This is true as far as my cheques concern. However I do feel they send INR cheques only from Singapore and USD from USA. But I am not sure.

Google has offices in India..so prob. they send it from a local office to minimise costs..

INR cheques are posted from Singapore . Usually they are posted on 26th but this time they were posted 5 days later.Received in Mumbai on 9th, other places usually follow.
