Hi guys,

<snip>A rejection email from Google</snip>
My site is a blog, and there seems to be lots of other blogs out there with AdSense, so I emailed them back asking to reconsider or tell me how to fix it/why it was refused.

Anyone else had this?

Yes, I had a site refused. Same email response.

Could be that other blogs like yours with adsense were accepted into adsense through a different site than their blog.

I can understand not giving a detailed reason, but not even given any kind of reason seems kind of weird. Especially when they pretty much allow BlogSpot members to use Adsense on their blogs.

I think you're wrong to assume that you've been turned down because your site is a blog.

It may be because of the content--the message says that in the future they may allow a wider range of web content. That suggests that it's the content that is the problem.

Check the AdSense policies for the topics they don't allow, and you may find that your site mentions or covers one of them.

Hmm ok then. I'm planning on having a little play around with the subject of the blog, right now its kinda just a personal one with lots of random stuff, but I was going to try and focus on just one subject in the future.
