Did someone just steal my AdSense code?

Impressions don't agree with my channels

I just noticed when checking my account that my total impressions exceed those of the channel I've set up for my root domain (the impression count here has been equal to the total impressions up until today), what's up with this?

I've also received some clicks outside my domain as well, but they gave no money. I know "mystery clicks" is the case with CPM ads, but mystery impressions?

Did someone rip my side design off and forgot to remove the ads or something?

One of the possibilities is that someone viewed your site through the cache of Google, Yahoo etc.

I thought of that, but this is more than 50% of my traffic, maybe I'll get some clues when my logs get analyzed tomorrow...

I also face the same problem now a day. 5 days back my total page impressions were around 37000 pages per day. But since 5 days it suddenly increases to around 50,000 but no increase in click on G add. I have checked the report and I found that the total shows much more the total of all channels. Our visitors read average 10pages per visitor but this also increases 16 pages per visitor since five days. In this way 30% bandwidth also increased. I think that someone is displaying my pages in frame. So I wrote G about this problem.

I have put your add on our 4 websites. According to your report page
Impressions of these websites are as follow on date...........

www.site2: 8528
www.site3: 23245
www.site4: 20

In this way total page impressions should be 37105 but according to G
Report total page impressions are 52208. It means 14703 page impressions
are extra impressions

Our question is what is the source of these extra 14703 page impressions?
If these page impressions are out of our four websites then you are
requested to cancel these page impressions. I think someone has copying my
pages along with your add code.

Same here. Since a couple of weeks number of the daily impressions counted by Google is about 25% - 30% higher than the real impressions. So Google says 12.500 page impressions when I count 10.000 page impressions.
Google ads are included dynamically in the sites, so I can count every inclusion/impression.

Clicks number hasn't changed, CTR logically has changed.

And by the way: Earnings are going down generally ... but this is an effect I noticed since I started Adwords 2 1/2 years ago: More you have, more clicks you are producing, less they would pay you.

I dont think if someone uses your adsense code you dont get paid for it. As Adsense code is not limited by domain unlike other advertisers like Vibrant Media.

It could be that you have two, three, or four, or more domain names getting your impressions. This can cause your Adsense earning not to add up in your channels. Example might be:

www.mysite.com
www.my-site.com
[my-site.com...]
[mysite.com...]
[mydomainnamethatpointstomymainsite.com...]

We wondered the same thing. Then I realized that one engine picked up a domain name we had pointing to the site, but is not the domain name we promote for the site, and we had a hyphenated domain name that another engine picked up. That made our channels add up almost perfectly.

Try adding all the domain names you own for the site into your channels and see if they don't add up.

Another thing we wondered is whether bot crawls count as impressions. If they show up in stats, and they do, that would mean they count as impressions?
