I made some change in my site i.e change ad position, remove ad border, add some eye catching pic. And my earning increase 150%.
Now I m creating a new site. Hope it would make my earning double. :)
It would take an image that specifically causes a TOS violation to warrant such action.
An obvious example would be an image of a big arrow pointing at the ads. This would clearly violate the terms. It wouldn't matter if you had a visible border around the ads or not.
If your account was disabled for having an image above the ads without a border, the border wasn't likely the problem. The image you chose was the problem.

I m not clear about that. What is 'bordered ad unit'?

No my account not cancelled( i pray everday) i just try to help him to not break tos .
What i know is google allow us blend ads with content and calls it not cheating but they say if we use images we must have a visible border so visitors will know that image not part of ad and yes they call it cheating if you dont use border
am i wrong?
I just thought your initial statement was too broad and required some qualifiers.
Glad to hear that your account was not disabled.

problem is my english not fluent so some times i cannot understand what peoples says, means also i can not say what i think in english .
what i was tryin to say is below (this is taken from jenstar's blog )
Images above ad units & complying with the AdSense termsIt has become popular over the last few months to place images above or next to ad units, with individual images lining up with each invidiual ad in an ad unit. For example, a leaderboard would have four small images above it. But some publishers have received compliance warnings about using images, since they are making them appear to be a part of the ad unit, and being asked to make changes to comply with the AdSense terms and policies.
So what exactly is within the terms and what isn't? I went straight to Google for the scoop.
Publishers are still welcome to place images above the ads. The only exception is if it's in such a way that it looks like the images are part of the ads.
When something like that comes to our attention, we'll ask that the publisher place a visible border between the ads and the images, to make it clear that the images are not being served by Google on behalf of the advertisers. We generally do not ask publishers to remove the images completely, we just ask that they add borders to avoid confusion.
So it seems the complaint is that the images appear to be trigger by the individual ads and are reflecting on the individual ad itself. This could potentially cause problems when a user clicks an ad expecting it to be about the image, even if they didn't fully read the ad text they happened to be clicking. And this could result in a lot of unqualified clicks to advertisers ads.
So to be fully complaint with the AdSense terms and policies while using the added images technique, you must have a border between the ads and the images, whether it be a bordered ad unit, or an on-page border you add yourself.
thats why i want to warn/help him
Personally I don't see that omitting a border would necessarily cause problems, or that including one would protect you. It all depends on the specific layout. The criteria really are: is the layout somehow deceptive or does it bring undue attention to the ads?
Concerning the images with Adsense,
I recently had random 75x75 images on the left side of a single unit Google ad with no borders and the default blue hyperlink color. My earnings more than tripled! We're talking from 4.00 one month to 86.00! I was a happy camper to say the least.
After reading through other areas of this forum concerning the use of images, I thought it best to contact Google support. They advised me to add a color to the background of the ad and place a border around it, otherwise it would falsely inflate the advertisers costs.
I wasn't using arrow images, or anything of the sort. Just images of future tutorials I was creating.
Well.. there went the "wow I've finally figured it out".
Anyway, best of luck to all with the spirit to make it happen.
I have image just top of the link unit and top of the wide skyscraper, not site of the ad unit. So i think i m not violating TOS. But i m not using any border or background color for ad unit.
I m using image left to the rectangle ad unit. I am not sure whether i m violating TOS or not as i m not using any background color or border in that case but i use a vertical line between ad unit and images.
Is it O.K.?
