Hiding your ads for specific IPs

I'm sure there are commercial programs to do this, but this guy found a way to hide his ads from a troublesome IP by using a nice little PHP script:

[obli.net...]

As it doesn't alter the code, it should be perfectly legal, right?

Not a bad idea really. If you are running a program (like Chitika) that doesn't pay on clicks from certain IP ranges then this could come in handy.
