The bottom line is that I'm looking at a 40% better result for October than for September if the trend will hold.
The sites where I see the biggest change ar nich sites published in Swedish, with a Swedish audience, so I acclaim the nice figures to more AdWords activity from Swedish advertisers that keep that Content Network option checked.
"CHAA-CHIIING!"
Starting to see a pattern where the month starts off great, builds up to a record day by mid-month, then slumps to next to nothing for a few days, before picking up again and ending on a high. Very peculiar!
Not so peculiar if you think about it.
Most people get paid last week of the month.
So, at the beginning of the next month people have a bit of money to spend. As the month goes on and bills are paid, expendible income drops meaning less cash to shop with. Then, last week in the month they get paid again and have a bit of extra cash to shop with.
I see this trend on my sites and put it down to what i have just described.
Ska
Month started slow. Like last month with peak in the middle. It really looks like: Beginning of month adwords customers gear up, Google knows then what to distribute to the different adsense websites. It gets all thrown out. End of month clearout and drop again.

I get realy up and down days, for instance thursday, friday and saturday earnings were in the region of $95 a day, sundays and monday earnings are at $58 and looks like going to be that today as well.
just swings and roundabouts but overall ernings are the same per month per traffic
Compared to the same period last year, eCPM is up about 45% and daily revenues are up about 47%.
Our traffic increase is a result of seasonal fluctuation. This means our Adsense earnings are only slightly increased over September, not the 25% we had projected a few months ago. But, the income is on target for income estimates made back in Feb 2005. So, we are very pleased.
We are back working the sites hard, adding fresh new content, attending trade shows, shaking hands and promoting the sites at the trade shows across America. We are expecting November traffic to reflect that effort, as well as getting the seasonal traffic increase November produces.
CTR is normal, ECM is normal, PPC is up slightly.
Life is good.
