It's not dull. It means orders of magnitude more distribution for Google Toolbar.

Google is positioning itself to be a distribution network. Look at AdSense, Google Video, Google Library, etc.

Now they have a TON more user data to play with. Think demographics, etc. I don't think this is a monetary move so much as it is a data grab by Google.

It's dull now. It won't be in 3 years.
