Google to Pay 90 Million to Settle Click Fraud

An Arkansas judge on Thursday approved a preliminary settlement againt Google worth $90 million preliminary settlement [today.reuters.com]

Google will be required to pay up to $60 million in credits for future advertising on Google, and up to $30 million is available to pay lawyers for those making claims against Google.

Similar claims are still outstanding in other courts.

Any one know how much free ads cost and how they are paid to AdSense publishers?

Youch, this should be front page on webmaster world.... Especially since they just posted record profits.... Google was a buy on wallstreet today. Guess they will be a sell monday..
