Official opening of the Dublin Googleplex was yesterday:

From the Irish Times:

"My intitial thoughts about coming to Ireland was that we would have easy access to Guinness and it was the closest stopover on route to Europe from California." quipped Mr Sergey Brin, a native of Moscow . . .

According to a radio report they've got a Subbuteo table. Bet they haven't got one of those in Mountain View.

RTE was happily showing pictures of the new offices. Very nice - and I notice they shipped in a few sedgeways!

I noticed this as well in reports here. To be honest, I think some Irish journos don't know the difference between a foosball table and a subbuteo "table". Subbuteo doesn't even come in tables, it's a mat... (sheesh).
