You will have to wait for them to announce how they are going to IPO.

If you already trade NYSE or Nasdaq shares online - you will almost certainly be able to trade google shares once they become public.

Example of NASDAQ stock: MSFT - Microsoft
Example of NYSE stock: T - AT&T

If you want to buy in on the actual IPO - stay tuned for details. As soon as they announce and we know where - it will be here within minutes if not sooner.

Why would you want to buy shares before you don't even know the price?

I'll gladly sell you some shares once I am able to sell short at the highly inflated price they may debut at (regardless of nationality)...

Don't jump into the mix unless you really know what is going on!

lucky star 8888 welcome to WW!

You might like to check out this link for Malasyia first:

[klse.com.my...]

then some more info and links to get you started at [min.com.my...]

On the topic of the Google IPO, if and when it actually happens, I would be very cautious.....I think a number of people, especially the inexperienced, may get burnt fingers on this one ;)

Most US and international online brokers accept foreign accounts. The requirements vary but to give one example from the several online brokers that I have used (I have daytraded on and off for 20 years, not always online of course) they ask for;

At least five (5) years of investment experience

Net income of at least $40,000 a year from all sources

Net worth of more than $50,000 (exclusive of family residence).

All new accounts must be funded with a minimum of $15,000 in cash.

Why would you want to buy shares before you don't even know the price?

Probably because buying shares at the IPO price can be a very profitable investment strategy.

I'll gladly sell you some shares once I am able to sell short at the highly inflated price they may debut at (regardless of nationality)...

It is difficult to short IPOs in the first few days, your broker needs to know you very well before you can do it for popular issues.

Don't jump into the mix unless you really know what is going on!

Agree 100%
