Firefox - option element not block when select's width set?

Happens in Firefox but not Opera or IE7?

If I set the width of any select element it's child options will only be the width of the text that fills it up. Is this the correct behavior or a Firefox bug?

Not in time for for edit...

I'm currently using an extremely early Alpha of Firefox 3.0 and it's fixed. It will still be present in Firefox 2.0 as it will use Gecko 1.8. This fix will see the light of day to live audiences when Firefox 3.0 is released. They're looking at the first quarter of 2007 so I really look forward towards August 2008!
