I was just experimening with png instead of gif and noticed that Opera 6.04 won't display them when they are in your stylesheet.
Are there any other browsers that don't support them? IE works fine.

Opera 6 has several problems displaying any image set in a stylesheet if the element isn't body :(
This is a know problem as is supposedly fixed in v7

I don't know what happened, but it suddenly started working. I had replaced it with a gif, then I decided to try again. Typo maybe, but I don't think so. Any how, thanks for the replies.
