it's so weird, my page is not attached to any style sheet, yet the background color of my input boxes with the name of "name" and "email" automatically turn yellow. They will turn white, which is what i want, only if i change the name to something else like "a" or "b". it just can't have "name" or "email" somewhere. Why's that? I tried using style sheet to change the background to white, but it didn't work.

thanks.

I found when I updated my OS to windows XP I started to see yellow input boxes, never happened with other versions of windows

This may not be related but I thought i would just mention it ;)

Do you happen to have the Google Toolbar installed? With the AutoFill feature enabled? If you do, any field that G recognizes, will be yellow.

I do have the toolbar installed but not the autofill option.
