Hi,

Recently taken on a company website; and as a complete newcomer to dreamweaver and website design/maintenance this is proving quite interesting!

Am I right in thinking that each new page will have a style sheet already set by default (as configured by original designer)?

I need to change the space between text lines, within a table cell. At present when pressing return for a new line the spacing is as double spacing. Can this be modified on the fly or do I have to create a new style sheet?

Tried all the obvious functions: Text / Character / Modify etc to no avail.

Kind regards

Phil

'line-height' might be what you need

Don't know if this is too late to help, but if you just want the single spacing in some places, you can hit Shift+Enter at least in the WYSIWYG portion of Dreamweaver). This will maintain the same formatting, though, so to change alignment still requires a hard Enter, which defaults to the double spacing.

I usually work around that by just using another table cell directly below if I want no double spacing but different formatting. Crude, but it works!
