Ok, I have a pretty major problem and I cant figure it out. Firstly, go to this address:
..

Notice when you go there in IE the content area is blank. If you view that page in any other browser except IE everything works fine. Now, in IE, hit refresh. The content shows up. Now put your mouse over one of the left navigation options such as "introduction". The content then disapears.

I am completely clueless as to why its doing this. I've been racking my brain for hours now and cant figure it out. So any help is greatly appreciated, Ill try anything.

Thanks.

Hi benj0323! You may want to review the TOS [webmasterworld.com], URLs to personal sites are not allowed. Could you post the relevent html and css?

Anyway, I did check out your site on IE 6, 5.5, and 5.01 and did not have this problem.

I was also unable to replicate this behavior, however what you describe sounds like the peek-a-boo bug. Go to Position Is Everything and look at the article there (subfolder /explorer/peekaboo.html). It should help.

I went to http://www.webmasterworld.com/explorer/peekaboo.html and it wont let me login. Is that the correct URL?

Also, thats weird that the problem doesnt happen for you. Im also on IE6 XP Pro and it happens for me every time. It only shows up after I hit refresh, then I put my mouse over a navigation item and it disapears again.

Thanks a lot for you help I really appreciate it.

Any other help is greatly appreciated.

You want to go to Position is Everything [positioniseverything.net].

Fixing peekaboo isn't difficult. The hardest part is narrowing down what part of the page is triggering the bug.
