Another 100% height div question

100% height minus x pixels?

I understand how to get a 100% height div. But, is there any way to get it to be 100% minus a specified number of pixels or percent?

Put some padding on the div?

I've had the same problem too... and there's really no solution to the problem but to use a nested div, or apply padding/margin to the children.
