Converting to CSS

I'm about to introduce cascading style sheets to all 4000+ pages of my site (a web photo gallery with 3300 images). I don't know much about CSS - where can I find more information about it?

To build my site I've used Netscape Composer 4.7, a web gallery generator and a text substitution utility. I might now switch to Netscape Composer 7 and the new release of this web gallery generator.
