[StrangeBanana.com...] - not sure if its a cutting edge resource but its cool and useful. The CSS is pretty basic but its cool if your stuck for ideas.

Here is a resource I like:

(View with browser which handles css properly, e.g. Netscape, Opera, Mozilla, etc. You won't get the proper effect with Microsoft IE, or with old versions of any of the browsers.)

How about a really commercial application of "pure" css -- and validated, strict XHTML as well. It also looks great on a small screen handheld.
