Some time ago we wrote a page at our university which is based on frames to look properly. Now we want to create a complete dynamic page using php and a back-end database. The problem is I don't want to use tables to keep the layout but want to try creating it using CSS. I'm no expert using CSS and that's why I'm asking the Pro's here.
The structure of the page are many framesets within each other. There's a frameset containing the logo in the upper left. The main menu in the upper middle and depending on the page content submenus on the left under the logo. The content in the middle changes the menu frames using JavaScript at the moment. That's the main reason, why we want to change the layout. My question is, is it doable in CSS or should I keep my hands of it and rewrite it in tables?
Thanks a lot for your help.

Linking to personal URLs is against the TOS [webmasterworld.com] here at WebmasterWorld. You should edit your post and remove it! Explaining the layout currently used and what you are trying to achieve will help us to understand, but also give you a clearer insight into your own problem.
To answer you questions though, this is absolutely achievable in CSS!
Thanks for the answer. I'm sorry about having posted the URL. I think I don't need to explain the problem any further. If you know it's doable, I'm gonna find out how.
Thanks a lot.
