Hi everyone,

I've got a site that I'm trying to re-design. Well, nto re-design but get rid of the tables and make it work with css only. I'm running into a problem though. My page is structured with three columns. Narrow column on the left with navigation, middle column with content, narrow right column with some more nav links.

I can get them layed out fine, centered and everything else, but the problem is when the text in the middle column runs long the left and right columns don't stretch with it. This makes the page look strange because the background colours are different, so when you scroll all of a sudden the left and right columns appear cut off.

How can I make the left and right coulmns stretch with the middle?

Please help,
Matt

Hi madmatt69,

Have you looked at the fluid templates available at Glish and BlueRobot?

There are also some nice suggestions on this withing the CSS Forum also...
