Adwords and Googlebot

Any Impact?

Hi:
I've got a new site, googlebot came by once at the beginning and the site has a pr0. Since then I've added internal and external links, fine tuned the copy etc. I just signed up for and started adwords.

I was wondering. Does signing up for adwords get the googlebot to visit your site?

The official word (from another thread) is that Googlebot and Adwords have no effect on each other.
