Popular keywords not showing any impressions

is this a problem ?

hi everyone

i just signed up for adwords a day ago and placed a few good groups of different keywords I wanted to target (gambling mostly). anyways, i am finding that all of the less popular keywords are showing, but the rest of my adgroups with more popular keywords don't display at all. my ad doesn't say "disapproved", and i have set my daily budget to what adwords recommended. can someone please explain why this might happen?

It sounds like you are doing affiliate marketing? If this is the case you need add (aff) or (affiliate) on either of your two lines of ad text.

Either that or your bids are too low.

I'm not doing affiliate marketing... my bids are also very good. When I click "modify keywords" for an ad group I'm never over 7 for the position.

Also, I my more popular keyword ad groups get NO impressions! :/

Perhaps there will need to be some certain text that has to be displayed on the landing page.

For one of the words I go after I needed a certain type of disclaimer.

If you just have started this campaign it may take a few days before the support team sends you an email telling you that the ads have been suspended(due to lack of a certain text/disclaimer). The less common words may fly below the radar and still be shown.

I would still attempt to content the support team. Good luck
