alexa seems to show 2 top adwords, the bad thing it doesn't care about your campaign settings, to me it doesn't seem to use the geo-preference or "country-settings", or whatever they call it, on alexa my ads are shown no matter what ip I have

does anybody see the same? I did have reasons to exclude some countries but don't think i should care much, alexa doesn't seem to be a popuar search-engine (based on my logs it's not :) but i wonder if it's common for the "sites in google's network" to have this problem with "countries where your ad will be shown"?

at least aol doesn't seem to have this problem

I have not tried Alexa. But I have backtracked to other refering URLs and found ads (for a product available only in the USA) being visible to me in the UK when they were supposed to be restricted to the US. So the geotargeting does not seem to work on non-Google pages.

A large number of Google partners, including AOL, does not use geo-targeting. I would suggest that you remove the Google partners for a week and check the conversion results..
