How do i make it so i know that the click came from adwords in my web logs?

Iam i right in saying:

[mysite.com?adwords...]

Would this show up or would i need to add anything else?

Thanks Mick

we use

http://www.mysite.com?s=g1
http://www.mysite.com?s=g2
http://www.mysite.com?s=g3
http://www.mysite.com?s=g4

a different one for each keyword.

We use something similar to jatar_k.

[mysite.com?refs=ga1...]
[mysite.com?refs=ga2...]
[mysite.com?refs=ga3...]

One per ad, that way we can track them individually. It also helps us when we match up inquiries/sales - to contrast with ctr.

I bury them in a session and then collect them on signup. Referers, campaigns, keywords and some other values, same idea. It all goes into a database and then we can do reports on all of it.
