I'm curious about whether or not PowerPosting will let you attatch specific ad copies to specific keywords.

I ask because I'm running a campaign where I get the most clics (and impressions) from Widget q4000 (the official product name) instead of for Widget 4000 (the ostensibly more common search term for the product). I THINK this is the case because the q4000 average position is higher than the 4000 search. Up until now, all the ads had q4000 in the ad header (partly because I think it's the proper way to refer to the product, and the way its refered on the manufacturer's site). I've added 4000 in the header to (hopefully) begin converting a higher percentage of 4000 searches to the point where they are comparable with the q4000 ads, but I'd like to attatch the ads with 4000 headers with 4000 searches, and q4000 ads with q4000 searches.

Can I do this?

BriGuy,

I suppose you could just move the "widgets 4000" to a new ad group?

or failing that , how about using this method:

Oh boy - BriGuy - My head is spinning after reading your post. All the 4000s, widgets and q4000s make me dizzy.

No.

Just add a new adgroup with a different ad copy - this is much easier and simpler since you have only two product names.
