Multiple keywords per ad --> Single keyword per ad

Will I lose my CTR on the keyword if i move to a new ad?

I currently have an adgroup that contains hundreds of relevant exact phrases I have added using powerposting. My best keywords have good CTRs and of course there are some that get zero impressions and zero clicks, but hey you never know if someone will type that exact phrase. All of the keywords are relevant to the ad.

Say I move some keywords to a new adgroup so that I have a one to one relationship with keyword and adgroup. This would be time consuming of course, but possible. If I did this, will I lose the CTR that the keyword currently has? Would I be starting from scratch, from a statistics standpoint? I have paid for those clicks so obviously don't want that to happen, and lose my ad position either.

Any suggestions on what to do here, if anything?

Thanks,

Steve

I talked to an AdWords rep a few weeks ago. She said "yes", you will lose your CTR and history. But she also told me that there will soon be a way to move phrases to different campaigns.
I guess a bunch of improvements are going to be released soon.

Thanks Robino! I was going to ask G myself, but one usually gets a quicker reply here.

Well, I guess I will wait for the improvements to be released.

Steve
