Couldn't find this on the Google FAQ.

When you edit an ad (make changes), do the associated keywords and their impressions get re-set?

I've seen disabled keywords become re-instated when I edit an ad. So, do they run for another 1000 impressions and then get removed again for a CTR lower that 1%?

Thanks for your help.

I beleive that it has been mentioned here that they do not. It was a few weeks ago and i can't find the thread now, but the person had said that they had spoken with adwords about the fact that their ad had been shut down quickly after re-instaing a keyword that had been shut down due to a low CTR.

Adwords had said this was part of quality control and that the ad would not get the 1000 immpression grace it did the last time. Basically, you got to come out swinging. If you fall under 1% at any point on a reinstated keyword, it will be shut down again.

Thanks Hannamyluv. Now I think about it, it's pretty obvious that they wouldn't re-set the impression count before removing the keyword for a low CTR. It would be nice to get some confirmation though. In the mean time I'll just watch my keywords and wait.
