I would like to know if anyone has tried Googles Preferred Position and whether or not they found it effective, good, bad etc.

I set it up for some adgroups last friday. So far it looks like CTR has improved, costs gone down, but total impressions has been lower also. So total number of visitors hasn't really changed...
On the other hand less than a week is not a long enough period for me to really come to a conclusion.
