I went to open the account. No problems with any of the credit cards. But got rejected, something about "Unable to charge card".
Ok, I figured, here we go again. This is the THIRD time this has happened in about 18 months.
Then it strikes me that I am in Thailand, but my accounts are in the US. So I send email to Adwords support through their form, which promises answers in one working day.
No response - it's been three weeks.
Meanwhile, I went BACK to the US, registered a NEW card while I was there, and waited. Nothing.
Sent another inquiry to Adwords Support through their form asking if there were any problems - no response, that's been about a week.
Adwords are supposed to activate almost instantly according to their FAQ. BUT - as in the past:
1. They don't respond to support questions in a timely manner - nothing new here.
2. They clearly don't meet the expectations they set out in their FAQs.
3. They clearly have grown too big for their boots.
Does anyone have either a similar experience, or any knowledge about why something like this should happen? I am at wit's end.
