Google Adwords and AOL

I've recently signed on with Google's Adwords and have been getting decent exposure and clicks. My question concerns AOL. Sometimes my keywords don't pull up my ads on AOL and I don't know why. My maximum cost-per-click is high and my ads show up very infrequently. My daily account limit is not the issue either. Any ideas?

The notice I received from Google says that you need to be in the top three to appear at AOL.

Yes, you must be in the top 3, but also Google/AOL have some other criteria. It appears that some people have to be approved for syndication. It took me quite a while to get mine listed in AOL. I never got any notice from Google about syndication. I just kept tinkering around with my ads until they showed up on AOL. Also, there is a delay before they get posted to AOL. The changes you make to your adwords will show up almost immediately in Google (sometimes), but they can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days to show up on AOL. I have also noticed that AOL and Earthlink sometimes don't like very long "display URL's". Also, keep the capitalization down, and make sure you use your keywords and page title in your adwords description. Hope this helps.
