Poor service of Google AdWords support team!

Did you ever meet this kind of thing?

More than 20 days ago, I added a new keyword in my adwords account, the keyword is a normal product. Ten days later, I found that keyword never run, so I contacted AdWords support team, one person told me that is a technical problem, he forwarded that problem to their technical team.

Recently I contacted their support team 6 times about that keyword, but they always said that is a technical problem. It is more than 10 days, they have NOT resolved that problem by now.

My customer and I both are disappointed at their service!

Did anyone meet this kind of thing? How could I do except waiting.

I kind of had the same problem, I had a whole new campaign, I contacted Adwords, and they said my Ads were not showing due to lack of "Ad revision" still. So they said they were reviewing it at that moment and my Ads should be showing any moment.... well itīs 2 weeks now, My ads are not showing.
I do have the feeling things are not runing smooth, technically speaking, at Adwords. "things" are taking just to much time.
What bothers me is that not even Adwords has the answer about how much you have to wait...I would rather to hear the truth from the begining than lies at the end. When Googel advertises Adwords it says, "start seeing your ads in 15 minutes.."
Well itīs not quite true.. some restrictions may apply..

Yeah, 15 minutes my ...

I had the same problem, and they tols me after a week that it was technical problem. It takes too much time. Can this be a strategy to downgrade the service quality of SEM agencies?

My experience with Google reps is that they're largely unavailable but extremely helpful when they get to you... Yahoo reps are always available and never helpful when they get to you.

I'll take the former.

It depeneds. I made a double serving complaint and sent in a bunch of info and screenshots and showed the rep while the ads were live. I'll see how this pans out.

Actually, I've never had any big problems other than disagreements on reviews. I talk on live chat often and have ads expedited all the time. Live chat is a big bonus if you ask me.

I contacted Google support team FIVE times through online chat, and give them ONE phone call to request they resolve that problem in time.

I don't know how big this problem is. They take more than 20 days (at least) to resolve it. We waste too much time on it!

I've had an ad banned now since mid February because it is selling 'hard liquor', which it isn't. When I complain they tell me it was 'banned because we do not allow advertisements for hard liquor'. Well yes. Thank you. I know you don't - and I know thats *why* it was banned.

Then I usually ask which word in the ad, or in the keywords, was the hard liquor, and it goes all quiet.

Been through the rounds three times now. They've OK'd every single word in it, but the ad is still banned because once upon a time someone was smoking crack and hallucinated some 'hard liquor' where my ad was..

Its my opinion its easy for Adwords personel to screw up, but to get things unscrewed again is next to impossible. Flawed systems design, as usual.

So, I'm beginning to feel the need for some 'hard liquor' myself! I'm going to ask my client for danger money if he wants me to keep dealling with this c***.

Alex,

You can't sell rye bread or scotch tape on Adwords, plain and simple ;)

I've been tripped up by similar over the years and always ended up giving up the fight after a while. Sometimes I'd get an exception for certain misinterpretations that only lasted until I made a change or tried to add a second ad to the adgroup. Regardless of the 'exception note' that was supposedly placed in my file.
