I tried using my current logon info to sign on to AdWords, but got the following error message:
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are unable to process your request at this time. Our engineers have been notified of this problem and will work to resolve it. Please note that using your browser's back button in AdWords can increase the likelihood of errors. If you think this was the cause of your error, please try again without using the back button.
Figuring it was a glitch that'd quickly be discovered and fixed this morning, I tried logging on again to AdWords this afternoon. Still no go!
Anyone have a guess as to what's going on, and have others also experienced similar AdWord glitches?
That's both weird and a bit disconcerting. Maybe there's some glitch whereby applying for an AdSense account prior to signing up for an AdWords account makes the latter temporarily impossible with the same e-mail address?
And the "you MAY [emphasis mine] be able to rename [the e-mail address on my temporary account] once the technical problem has been fixed"... that's a bit frustrating. I guess it's hardly the end of the world if I have to use two different e-mail addresses in my dealings with Google, but I can imagine there being problems if I later want to have AdSense funds transferred to my AdWords account and so on.
