We noticed a few of our ads weren't clicking through, but going to an error page instead, and on further investigation found the query string below added to our Destination URL.
http:// www.mydomain.com/?gclid=********

As we already used a query attached to the URL to provide tracking this caused the error.

Anyone else seen the query string added to their Dest URL? How long has this been going on?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld!

I have my own strings attached too, and can't reproduce what you reported. However Google is known for A/B-Testing certain features, so maybe you are part of a test group.

If it breaks your system, you should contact them.

Have you signed up for Google Analytics? If so, check that they're not adding their own analytic-specific tracking tags by default (it'll be under the analytics tab in your adwords account).
