Hi
I have recently started my adwords campaign. I typed $45 instead of 0.45 cents . After a hour I checked the adwords I saw $120 for that keyword alone with $3.20 for single click. The worst thing is I did not get any conversion for that too.

Do you think I can explain this to G .

Well it's your fault and they've delivered the service to you so in all probability I'd say that you're stuffed. However, you could try throwing yourself upon their mercy and begging for a refund. Maybe they'd be very generous but then they are a profit making corporation now so I wouldn't hold my breath. At least you'll be on their Christmas card list now...

If you had a long history of low priced clicks, you might have some leverage, but with no history you'll probably have to eat it.

Also make sure you have the budget feature turned on.

Sounds like it could have been much worse too if the max cpc was set at $45...

I can't recall if I have welcomed you to this forum yet, hibuddy, but if not - welcome!

By all means - please contact AdWords support, describe what happened, and ask if anything might be done.

I can't make any promises of course, but I wouldn't be surprised if a partial credit towards future advertising could be arranged. I've known us to 'share the pain' in cases like this, especially with newer advertisers. So, in this case no history might be a good thing. ;)

And I also agree with eljefe3, that it's a good idea to have one's daily budget set at a comfortable and realistic level - to minimize surprises.

Best of luck on this.

Hibuddy. Do what AWA says. I did that once. I put 2 bucks instead of 20 cents. I don't know how it happend. Just a typo. I realized it right away and changed it back but I was still charged 2 bucks per click. I contacted support about it and after they worked it all out they fixed it for me and gave me the credit without troubles. I'm sure they will understand your problem and hopfully do the same for you.

Thanks for all your replies and helpful info.

I did contacted Google. I had daily budget turned on so The clicks went $33 above my 120 % of daily budget. so I got the $33 back without any questions.
and Google gave me some amount back for future advertisements .So I only lost almost $60 which is not as bad as I thought.

Yes Google understand their customers. I am fine.
