I run a number of Adwords campaigns and I have noticed over the last few days that some of my campaigns are not showing up at all for matching keywords.

Although two of the campaigns are new, five others are exisitng campaigns that have performed quite well. Sometime last week all seven campaigns stopped recieving any impressions whatsoever. some of the keywords are quite popular and the amounts I have bid are estimated by Google to be within top 3 ad spots.

I have upped the campaign spend, widen my Geo-targetting and turned off filtering by language. Still no luck.

As a last resort I emailed Google but they haven't been bothered to reply. Has anyone else seen anything similar?

I thinking maybe they may be capping my spend because I am a relatively new user (three months) and my overall spend increased significantly this month.

There has been talk about accounts being paused at around 100,000 impressions and getting a manual review - it could be something to do with that.

Thanks for the reply DM.

That may apply in my case because my impressions are at about 150,000 but if you exclude deleted campaigns it is just at about 100,000

Just curious how does this review differ from the normal review that occurs for each ad? Cause when i started out i had a few ads rejected for Excessive Capitalisation :-), using "online" etc...

Yeah I had the same problem. about 1/2 of our campaigns stopped showing all of a sudden, but our impression level is 4435691, with 39074 clicks so far since inception.

We also wrote to google, and they have not yet responded. However, it has not been the 24 hours in which they say will respond yet.

I have no clue why this is happening, but a manual review sounds logical.

Also note that google updated their adwords mechanism recently (message was posted about ongoing update as you were trying to log in yesterday), and few things have been funny.

If anyone knows for sure what's going on, please let us know by posting here.

With every good wish,
Ian A.
