Minimum bid different for each ad group

I'm sure people of noticed this that if you enter the same search word in the add groups that the minimum bid might be different. Example:

Ad group #1 "molson" min bid $0.50
Ad group #2 "molson" min bid $1.00

Good observation, lwhistler, and you are quite correct.

Yep, the Quality Score does not 'belong' to a keyword. Instead, it is a measure of the quality of the keyword in the context of the ad it shows.

Excerpting from the AdWords Help Center:

Quality Score = keyword's CTR + relevance of your ad text + historical keyword performance + other relevancy factors
