Adwords still counting ads served for deleted keywords?

Is this hurting your CTR?

I have noticed on one of my Adgroups that Google is continuing to count ads served for keywords I deleted months ago. In fact those deleted keywords have served up over 9000 ads on Google. When I look at the line that says 'Subtotal: Search Ads' they have included those 9000 ads served against my click-thru's. This is lowering my overall CTR for that Adgroup and is making it look like the Adwords account is doing worse than it is. Is this frustrating anyone else?

GoogleGuy, any reason for this?

How can this not be a problem for anyone else?

To tell you the truth, I just don't look at deleted terms. Normally if a term becomes defunct, it is because the entire ad has so the entire ad is deleted.

Call or email customer service and talk to them about it. They should be able to help/explain.
