This is my first post (hope I'm doing this right). I'm in need of advice in dealing with the "Google Adword Machine" - here's my problem;
8 months ago I checked my Adword accounts, (yes THEY let me have 2) and although accessable, they had a banner across the top stating my method of payment was declined and my profile needed updating before activity could resume...tried that, several times, no luck.
My enquiry to "support" received the response; (I para-phrase); "your site is in violation of our terms...your ads will no longer run on adwords...etc.etc. "
Almost 8 months of enquiries (No not everyday) attempting to find out WHY this has happened and HOW I we can fix the problem (whatever it is) have only managed to get ignored or passed on to another "team" member: started the same sequence of cut and paste emails over & over again (I feel like Bill Murray in the movie "Ground Hog Day")
HERE'S THE KICKER; this all started 2 weeks after google's "tech team" helped consolidate my accounts and modified my account for "optimum" performance.
No, I'm not losing sleep over it, but I had no problem with ADWORDS in the past and I'd like to re-establish my relationship with them, but they can really make you feel pretty worthless.
Any advice out there? (how about it AWA?)

but I forgot to mention that I did call that number and the young man on the other end found every excuse/policy reason possible to "keep" me from actually talking to a live person I did however get a prompt (24 hr) email response... word for word the email I initially got 8 months ago...Is someone avoiding me? LOL
What does it take to actually have someone "open" my file and tell me how to fix whatever is wrong?

I think basically we all have our hands full with our own AdWords problems lately and yours is just so typical.

Was this "young man" you were talking to dead? :)
You want similar stories, just read 1/2 of our posting histories.
Do you know how you were in "violation of terms"? Was it the 2 accounts or something else?
What you should do now is hit the live chat like I just did. They gave me a contradictory answer to the email response, but at least it appeared to be a "live" person on the other end.

Thanks, tried the live chat, and I'm still waiting for the "3 business days to respond to me" to as "CHAT LIVE INSTRUCTED" (LOL)... I GET IT NOW! ADWORDS LAND IS DIFFERENT PLANET!...Must be, 3 days used to take, what, about 72 hours on Earth ;)
Kidding aside, it's just another version of voice mail as far as I can tell (unless of course they can quote you straight from the GOOGLE SCRIPTURE). She in no way attempted to probe for additional information that she could use to even "pidgeon hole" the situation. I was allowed to ask questions, she offered non-answers.
Leading me to believe that Chat live apparently has not been allowed the authority to form or offer an original thought or out of the box assistance. She at least could tell me that my file was "currently" under review (In Adword Land: "current=less than 12 months" sorry could resist...but thanks for the shot.
Finally, yes, I AM aware of the 100s or 1000s of other members in my position, but I sure would like to hear from anyone WHOS HAD SUCCESS appealing an AW's suspension. There must be someone out there?
(once againg I apologize for the rant; I just found myself with more idle time than I should have been allotted... and, yes, I'm trying to keep this string at the top of the page too ;)
