What makes the ad to appear on the google network is the ad ctr of is the keyword ctr.If its the keyword ctr then why its important to have a good ctr for you ad.

I asked my Google rep a similar question the other day and she was going to "get back with me".

My question was this: If I have an AdGroup with 20 search terms total and 10 terms are getting awesome CTR's and 10 terms are getting terrible CTR's so that my ad is showing an average CTR...how does that affect the performance of my entire account.

Still no answer from Google.

i think its the ctr of your ads not the ctr of your keywords, anytime you have a low ctr of the keyword you ads ctr will be down too.A better keyword ctr mean a better ad ctr.I guess

Historically, Google determined placement/bid price by the CTR of the keyword only. A few months ago, there was chatter about how Google might starting looking at the ad CTR.

if they look at the keyword ctr ,then why the ad ctr is important and if you ad has a low ctr then your ad might not even show ,i think they go by ad ctr .
