You've seen this on Google? I have never seen it. Snap.com has it, but to my knowledge, Google does not.

I wonder if there is some bit of spyware/adware that is doing this on your computer and hijacking the revenue in some way. You might want to sweep your computer just in case.

It's not in the AdWords interface to set up and icon and I have never seen an icon by an AdWords ad.

I have seen it today in adsense, the icons are just before the headline of the ad, and are located:

[pagead2.googlesyndication.com...]

(XXX is the domain name for whom the ad is being shown, the graphic is 16x16 and the advert is an otherwise normal advert)

So - how do we get them?

I knew I wasn’t loosing my Marbles. The adsense forum even has a thread on it.

I would like to place my little icon on a few of my ads. I think it would provide some excellent branding...

For some reason the ones I have seen are all EbaY aff ads.

It is possible that Google automatically pulls the favicon from your website and you don't need to send it to them.

Unlikely as it would seem google would want more control over what type or more importantly WHAT you display for a graphic.

You have sharp eyes there, blaketar! And you've spotted the results of limited test which is currently underway.

I have no details, though, as to when (or even if) this might become more readily available. When I do know more, you can bet I'll post about it here.

I have only seen a handful of them, and they are primarily "big brands" - eBay, Amazon, TripAdvisor, Register.com

Very eye-catching tho.

I've seen little icons like this in Adwords. You can cut and paste them.
