Ken Lay has taken out adword ads to explain his side of the Enron story. Disgruntled investors and ex-employees are clicking on his ads to literally 'make him pay'.

I think that was a bad seed to plant in the heads of the 99.5% of the population who would have been unaware of the potential of click fraud based on malice rather than profit.
