this is a hyper competitive market, however it makes no sense to have no clicks. the ad copy is actually pretty good, and ive changed the ad a few times all with 0 clicks, im getting a little bit flustered here as to why this would happen :-/
let me also say this is a technical field where im sure people do some tricks to hurt other people (perhaps repeatedly searching for these keywords and clicking on their ads, or not clicking any ads?
a rep from google said he would get back to me and such, this was last wednesday (or maybe tuesday?) and since then i havent heard from him, can you check up on that please?
still waiting on customer service guy to get back to me....tomorrow will be day 7 since he said he would :-/
inferno, I am almost certain that the Forum moderators wouldn't think that requesting that I check up on promised responses to support email is an appropriate use of this Forum - and this is why I didn't respond to your previous request. I don't want to wear out my welcome here, by conducting AdWords business on someone else's site, after all. ;)
Anyway, your request is really best handled outside of this Forum, and I would suggest writing in from the account in question, and including something in the subject line saying that is to the attention of the particular person.
With that said, I do apologize for the delay. I know you are anxious to get some insight. Me too!
But I do know that our support folks are pretty busy, and often have a wait list of 'special requests' that they've been asked to follow up on.
Thanks in advance for understanding.

and believe me, i DEFINATELY, REPEATEDLY told them which campaign...
*sigh*
not trying to be annoying or whatever, its just pretty frustrating to wait for over a week to find out whats wrong only to find out they investigated the wrong campaign.
*sigh*
Maybe create an ad for a keyword that isn't very competitive, say “Broccoli milkshakes" - or something crazy like that. Give it a $.05 cent bid and go to google, find the ad, and click on it. Make sure everything is working and converting properly.
This is what I do when I make any weird changes to my account, links, or ads. I don't test by clicking on my $13 per click keywords, I click on my $.05 cent crazy test keywords.
I would think in that time, even the most poorly written ad would be clicked on a few times, even is they come from a competitor.
1) Many of your impressions are coming from the content network. I think this is most likely, since you had 2000 impressions with no clicks. If that was on Google and the Search Network, your keyword would have been disabled long before that.
2) Your keywords aren't as targeted as you think. If you're using broad matching, use the Keyword Tool to see what other keywords it's matching. Look at the natural search results to see if there are some totally unrelated topics with the same keywords. For instance, if you're targeting "windows", you'll get searchers looking for Microsoft's operating system and windows for houses.
my keywords are pretty focused... i dont want to give away the business though, but here is something very very similar
new orleans personal injury lawyer
or
professional personal injury lawyer new orleans
stuff like that, it is pretty darn specific, i have negative keywords and the like.
im telling you, i do campaigns for other people as favors, and i have never had a campaign with a ctr under 1% and this one has a ctr of like .01% or something.
the amazing thing is that it hasnt been disabled lol, tho almost every word is on hold.
i actually recieved like 5 clicks in about a week,(so i know they are clickin on the ads, just not very often) each at 2 dollars a click, which is about 4 times what i want to be spending per click anyways, im just not sure what to do
*shrugs*
heh, this is funny, i finally got word that they have some suggestions as to why the campaign isnt working properly, and guess what.....they gave me suggestions about the wrong campaign!
I gotta run to a meeting in about two minutes, so I just have a moment.
Firstly, my apologies the not-so-great experience! (This will all make a good story someday...)
Secondly, if I were in your shoes inferno, I'd reply to the email that you were sent, and mention that, unfortunately, the wrong campaign was addressed and that the right campaign and Ad Groups are (you fill in the blanks here...).
I'm still wishing you a productive resolution on this.

besides, im sold on the fact that google is not a good advertising medium for my business anyway, as it was something i suspected from teh beginning, hopefully when they look over my account they can find something wrong, otherwise im just giving up, i feel online advertising for my sort of business is not worth it :(
I'm a bit new here, but could the words "free promo" be causing you problems? If your site doesn't demonstrate to the user within 1-2 clicks that you actually give a free promo, Google doesn't like this. Could this be causing problems?
